Who is required to complete Hazmat Transportation Training?

Hazmat Transportation Training is required for any “hazmat employee” involved in the handling, shipping, or transportation of hazardous materials. This includes CDL drivers, owner-operators, warehouse staff, and anyone responsible for packaging, labeling, or transporting hazardous materials under DOT regulations.

DOT regulations require Hazmat training to be completed every 3 years. In addition, new employees must complete training within 90 days of starting hazmat-related duties to remain compliant.
